I did the Yo-Yo Fun & Science of Spin presentation for the 5th & 6th grades at Fredericksburg Academy in Fredericksburg VA. Almost 100 students had no idea that they were going to a yo-yo show on National Yo-Yo Day. They were very interested in the yo-yos and the history.
I am going to keep pushing National Yo-Yo Day tomorrow evening with a demo at a large middle school, Thursday is an elementary school, and Saturday is a Birthday Party. Sure is interesting and profitable to be busy.
At all of my presentations everyone gets a trick sheet that includes the AYYA and its web site so they can become members.
