You’re familiar with the current form of yoyo contests - a one minute freestyle that leads to a 3-minute freestyle for the finalists. Not that long ago, things were drastically different.. Up until 1997, the winner of the National YoYo Contest was the person who scored the highest on a trick list. Tonight, we’re going to take a look at the old way of doing things - the trick list as a way to determine a contest winner. We'll talk to a couple of veterans of the old skool contests and ask them about their experiences - AYYA Hall-Of-Famer Bob Rule & National Grandmaster Bill deBoisblanc. Tune in tonight at 9:15 pm (East Coast Time) at YoYoRadio.net to listen!
